The “Network of Educators of Children and Youth in Street Situations’’ (Réseau des Educateurs des Enfants et Jeunes de la Rue – REEJER) is taking part to the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, jointly with Apprentis d’Auteuil (AA) and the Foundation Apprentis d’Auteuil International (FAAI). Our alternative report addresses the legislative and regulatory framework for the protection of children (children in street situations, children accused of witchcraft and young girl-mothers), as well as the right to education and to health.
