Role summary
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Board as a Trustee of an international charity fighting for the rights of street children worldwide. As a Trustee, you will play an essential role in the success of our charity, using your skills and experience to help set our strategic direction and ensure the good governance of the organisation. You will be joining a fantastic team of board members and your contribution will make an enormous difference in helping drive forward the strategy, work and reach of the organisation.
As a Board member, you will be working to create a better future for some of the most disadvantaged and stigmatised children worldwide. You will be able to use your professional and life experiences to make a significant contribution to the strategy and success of a pioneering and ambitious organisation, making a real difference to the lives of street children around the world. You will join a close-knit trustee team with a vast amount of personal and professional experience across a range of fields. You will be able to develop your understanding of Charity governance, as well as learning more about the vital work of our organisation.
We are looking for someone to bring energy, commitment and their professional experience to our Board team. We are particularly interested in trustees bringing different skills to the team including lived experience of being on the street, experience of fundraising, financial oversight, and working on systemic change in the areas of chid protection and child rights.
