Summary

The forum for Francophone Africa addressed specific selected themes affecting street children in the region through group and plenary discussions, namely: street children’s access to education, street children’s access to healthcare, violence and abuse, exploitation and trafficking, and zones of conflict/war. The results of these discussions, as summarised within this report, formed the basis of the statement of recommendations for the region. These recommendations will be used for lobbying and advocacy with governments, international organisations and other actors involved with street children.
