Summary

This paper is a CSC briefing to the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) on street children in Senegal. The IPU is an international organisation comprising the parliaments of sovereign states and is the focal point for world-wide parliamentary dialogue, working for peace and co-operation among peoples and for the firm establishment of representative democracy. As part of this, the IPU co-ordinate delegations of Parliamentarians to and from different countries and this briefing was shared with the delegation from Senegal.
